Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects. Responsibilities: Serve as the lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Supervise less experienced staff working on projects. Interact with clients and engineers from other disciplines. Serve as a technical mentor for less experienced staff in local offices. Engage in business development activities such as proposal preparation and fee/scope development. Fill the role of Project Manager for selected electrical projects. Qualifications: Over 12 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or other heavy industrial industries. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required. Professional Engineering License is required. Knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout, and related activities. Good working knowledge of the NEC and related codes. Auto CAD experience is a must; Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software is desirable. Prior project leadership experience is required; leadership experience in major projects is desired. Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs. Good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors.
