The Clinical Assessor plays a crucial role in the Behavioral Health Company by conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals seeking behavioral health services. They are responsible for evaluating the client's mental health status, identifying appropriate treatment options, and coordinating referrals to the appropriate resources. The Clinical Assessor primarily works in the field, conducting assessments at various locations such as hospitals, clinics, and community settings; however, is also available embedded. Tasks Assessment: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to establish achievable goals. Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to address clients' mental health concerns. Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or in need of immediate support. Case Management: Coordinate and advocate for clients' access to appropriate resources and services, including referrals to external agencies when necessary. Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care. Education: Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies. Ethical Practice: Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality and respecting cultural diversity. Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of clinical social work through ongoing professional development and training. Additional duties as required. Education and Experience Years of Experience: 2-3 years of clinical social work experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. License, Certificate Or Registration: Must be a licensed Clinical Provider (MFT, LCSW, MFT, CPC, Clinical Psychologist, or Intern in the State where services are being provided).
