The Senior Salesforce Developer is a key technical leader responsible for the architecture, development, and optimization of the company’s Salesforce ecosystem. This role plays a crucial part in designing scalable solutions, improving system performance, and integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Salesforce administration, development, and customization, along with experience in process automation, data management, and API integrations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation within the CRM landscape. Essential Functions Salesforce Strategy & Architecture: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure Salesforce solutions. Define Salesforce best practices, governance, and system architecture to ensure maintainability and high performance. Assess business needs and translate them into effective CRM solutions, leveraging declarative and programmatic tools. Drive the adoption of new Salesforce features, integrations, and automation strategies to enhance business operations. Manage complex Salesforce configurations, including user roles, profiles, permissions, sharing rules, and record types. Oversee system performance, data integrity, and security compliance across multiple Salesforce orgs. Develop and maintain robust reporting and dashboard solutions for enhanced business insights. Troubleshoot system issues, implement bug fixes, and proactively optimize platform usability. Train and support end users, ensuring proper utilization and adoption of Salesforce features. Design and develop complex Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages. Implement and maintain automation solutions using Flow, Process Builder, and Custom Apex. Develop and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mule Soft, Zapier, Boomi), and ETL tools. Manage Dev Ops, CI/CD processes, and release management within Salesforce environments. Maintain and extend Salesforce Dev Ops practices using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Git. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing technical expertise and strategic recommendations. Lead CRM-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with IT, sales, marketing, customer service, and finance teams to enhance Salesforce’s role as a core business platform. Required Skills & Abilities Extensive hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator and Developer, with deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and API development. Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, governance, and compliance best practices. Advanced proficiency in Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and other declarative automation tools. Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and external databases. Hands-on experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, and version control for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Bitbucket, Git). Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience, with a track record of leading Salesforce projects. Salesforce certifications highly preferred (e.g., Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect, or System Architect).
