Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) Our client is looking for a Safety and Facilities Manager to join their team. Our client is a high profile property developer located in Geelong and surrounding regions. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, manage and deliver multiple Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts for various disciplines including HVAC, Fire, Electrical, doors and all Essential Safety MeasuresHave a systematic approach to ensure all compliance, testing and annual signoff for the business’s Essential Life Safety Measures are achieved each year.Assist with the assessment and decision making for various reactive maintenance works and repairs.Assess and prioritize maintenance and renewal projects to present to the Executive for approval.Project Manage or assist in the delivery of all works and projects as required ranging from small works to several million-dollar projects.Be accountable for day-to-day health and safety performance.Manage and monitor our health and safety policies, guidelines and procedures. Establish health and safety standards and goals for the workplace.Identify, monitor and evaluate identified safety risks and develop strategies to eliminate and minimize those risks. Ensure risk assessments are carried out and documented.Ensure safe working procedures are implemented and followed.Develop a positive health and safety culture.Qualifications and Experience: Have 5 years’ experience in Project and Safety Management in a relevant industry or business.Have a proven capability an understanding of capital and operational works within the construction industry.Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to produce clear advice, instructions and needs.Have a good understanding of contractual, safety and statutory laws and risks.Be competent in managing workload, timelines and priorities.Have demonstrable competency in current and relevant business software’s including the Microsoft 365 suite of products.Current Victorian Driver's License To submit your application, click the APPLY NOW button.
