Financial Coordinator – Venezuela (Caracas)
As Financial Coordinator you will be accountable for the sound financial, accounting and budgetary management of the mission. You will be the financial representative for the mission, both internally and externally (donors, authorities, NGOs, etc.).
For this purpose, you will be responsible for:
Financial, budgetary and accounting management: all aspects of finance, including budgetary and accounting elements, as well as the mission cash flow.
Representation: representing the association in its relations with partners, authorities and local players for financial matters.
Coordination: centralizing and diffusing information within the mission and to headquarters for all financial aspects, and consolidating internal and external reporting.
The challenges that await you
Ensure proper budgeting of the 2026 funds.
Follow up on reporting with different donors (emergency, development).
Redefine roles and responsibilities between Coordination and Bases staffs.
What you will need to succeed
Training
Master’s degree in Financial and Accounting Management. Technical background in project management is an asset.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial/accounting management. Previous experience abroad in humanitarian action appreciated. Experience with Première Urgence Internationale is a definite asset.
Skills
Strong writing and financial skills, sound knowledge of institutional donor procedures. Excel proficiency and mastery of SAGA accounting software is ideal.
Qualities
Good communicator in writing and orally. Good team spirit, analytical capability, sense of responsibility, organisational skills, reactivity, adaptability. Ability to resist pressure in unstable circumstances.
Languages
English mandatory. Spanish, Arabic and/or French is a definite asset.

PUI will offer you
Status: Executive with a Fixed‑Term Contract.
Monthly Gross Income: 2,650.00 – 3,130.00 € depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50 € per semester of seniority with PUI.
Insurance: medical coverage, complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance and repatriation.
Housing: collective accommodation.
Daily Living Expenses (Per Diem).
Break Policy: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months + break allowance.
Paid Leaves Policy: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + return ticket every 6 months.
