Programme Development and Quality Director (PDQ) - (2200078S) THE OPPORTUNITYThe PDQ Director will be based in Caracas (open to national and international candidates), supporting the Country Director. The post-holder will ensure that humanitarian programmes delivered are to the appropriate scale, scope, quality, and accountability expected of Save the Children, incorporate a child focused lens, and mainstream gender, disability and MHPSS. The postholder will be expected to mentor and/or capacity-build both international and national staff colleagues.The PDQ Director Development will also be expected to play a role in global level technical working groups, working closely with RO and Centre technical advisers on organisational strategy, capacity building, policy, and advocacy initiatives.To be successful, you will bring/have:Education to MSc/MA/MEng level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experienceProject management certification or experience related to organisational development projectsPrevious, recently, or current experience with Save the Children. Fluent in Spanish (essential)Fluent in English (essential)We offer a competitive package in the context of the sector. THE ORGANIZATIONWe employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education, and child protection.
