Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and hands-on Senior QA Enablement Engineer or Lead to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and leading our testing strategy, ensuring the highest quality standards across our product offerings. You will work closely with development, product, and Dev Ops teams to streamline testing processes, support faster and more reliable releases, and help scale our marketing automation platform to meet the needs of our growing customer base. Key Responsibilities: Lead QA Strategy: Own and drive the end-to-end QA testing strategy for our marketing automation platform, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high product quality. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and Dev Ops engineers to improve testing practices and build a culture of quality from the ground up. Build and Scale Testing Infrastructure: Lead the design and implementation of automated test frameworks, focusing on both unit tests and end-to-end (E2 E) testing, with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability. Enhance Test Automation: Lead efforts in test automation, utilizing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar to streamline testing workflows and speed up development cycles. CI/CD Integration: Work on integrating automated testing into our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring quick feedback loops and consistent testing with every release. Dev Ops Support: Contribute to Dev Ops initiatives, particularly in optimizing local development environments, to improve testing efficiency and streamline the development lifecycle. Testing Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Establish testing metrics and reporting to monitor quality, uncover areas of improvement, and drive continuous testing process enhancements. Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency with Testing Tools: Deep expertise in Playwright, Cypress, or similar end-to-end testing frameworks. Experience building or maintaining custom test frameworks is highly valued. Experience in QA Enablement: A strong track record of enabling and driving quality within development teams, including introducing and evolving testing strategies and methodologies. CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Proficient in integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and ensuring that automated tests are part of the deployment cycle. Test Reporting & Analytics: Ability to establish clear, actionable reporting on test coverage, failures, and process improvements. Leadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding teams toward higher quality practices. Agile Mindset: Experience working in an agile development environment and adapting testing practices to support fast-paced delivery cycles.
