Base pay range$165,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr Sr. Director of HR and Talent Solutions Practice Leader for ABGI USATax Director – Las Vegas ABGI Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a well-established CPA firm in Las Vegas to find a visionary Tax Director to join their leadership team. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s tax practice, with a strong focus on strategic planning, high-level advisory services, and operational excellence for a prestigious client portfolio that includes non-profits, high-net-worth individuals, private clients, and estates & trusts. As a key member of the firm’s executive team, the Tax Director will drive innovation in tax strategy, lead client relationship management at the highest level, and contribute significantly to the firm’s growth and success. Your Role as Tax Director In this leadership role, you will: Provide strategic direction for the firm’s tax department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance. Oversee all tax engagements, maintaining the highest standards in service delivery and client satisfaction. Serve as the primary advisor to top-tier clients, delivering expert guidance on complex tax matters and planning opportunities. Lead the development and implementation of forward-thinking tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize client outcomes. Mentor and inspire a team of senior tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth. Monitor and interpret evolving tax legislation to ensure proactive and compliant solutions for clients. Collaborate closely with partners and executive leadership to drive firm-wide initiatives and enhance service offerings. Play an instrumental role in business development efforts, including client acquisition and retention strategies. Review and approve complex tax filings, financial statements, and advisory reports with a keen eye for accuracy and strategic value. Support training programs and succession planning within the tax department. Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred)Active CPA license required Experience:10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including leadership roles Expertise in serving non-profits, high-net-worth individuals, estates & trusts, and private clients Skills & Attributes: Deep knowledge of federal and state tax codes, advanced tax planning, and compliance strategies Proven success in leading high-performing teams and managing a diverse book of business Exceptional client relationship and communication skills Strong analytical thinking and business acumen A proactive, client-centric mindset with a passion for excellence Why This Role?Join a respected CPA firm where your leadership will make a lasting impact.
